Email: hello@thelaunchpadclub.com

We are not required to appoint a data protection officer.

2. Legal bases

We process personal data on the following legal bases of the GDPR:

  • Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR – your consent
  • Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract or pre-contractual steps (e.g. webinar registration, purchase)
  • Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR – legal obligations (e.g. tax retention duties)
  • Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR – our legitimate interests

Where information is stored on or read from your device (e.g. cookies, pixels), this is based on § 25(1) TDDDG (consent), unless it is strictly necessary to provide the service you requested (§ 25(2) TDDDG).

3. Hosting and server log files

Our websites are hosted via Lovable (Lovable Labs Incorporated AB, Stockholm, Sweden) and its infrastructure providers. When you visit our pages, technically necessary data is processed automatically: IP address, date and time of access, page requested, referrer URL, browser type and operating system. This is necessary to deliver the website securely and to detect and prevent attacks (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Log data is deleted as soon as it is no longer needed for these purposes. We have concluded a data processing agreement with the provider (Art. 28 GDPR).

4. Cookies and consent management

Some of our pages use cookies and similar technologies. Technically necessary cookies are set on the basis of § 25(2) TDDDG and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. All other technologies, in particular the Meta Pixel, are only used if you have given your consent via our cookie banner (§ 25(1) TDDDG, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw or change your consent at any time with effect for the future via the "Cookies" link in the footer of the relevant page. Your consent choice is stored on your device. Visitors from the EU/EEA, the UK and Switzerland are only tracked after actively clicking "Accept". Visitors from other countries are informed via a notice and can opt out at any time via "Manage / Opt out" or the "Cookies" link; we respect the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out.

5. Meta Pixel

On our webinar registration, thank-you and sales pages we use the Meta Pixel of Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland ("Meta"), but only with your consent.

Purpose: to measure the effectiveness of our ads on Facebook and Instagram, to understand whether visitors register for our webinar ("PageView" and "Lead" events), and to show relevant ads to you and to similar audiences.

Data processed: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited, events (e.g. registration), cookie identifiers. If you are logged into a Meta account, Meta can link this data to your account.

For the collection and transmission of data to Meta we are joint controllers with Meta (Art. 26 GDPR) under Meta's Controller Addendum (https://www.facebook.com/legal/controller_addendum). Meta is responsible for any further processing.

Data may be transferred to Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. Meta Platforms, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (adequacy decision, Art. 45 GDPR).

Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG. More information: https://www.facebook.com/privacy/policy/

6. Webinar registration (WebinarJam)

To register for our free webinar we use WebinarJam, a service of Genesis Digital LLC, USA. The registration form is embedded on our page.

Data processed: name, email address, any further details you enter, registration and attendance data, and any chat messages or questions you submit during the webinar.

Purpose: to register you, send you the access link and reminders, and run the webinar (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

During the webinar, your name and chat messages may be visible to other attendees and may appear in a recording or replay. You are free to use only your first name.

Data is transferred to the USA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR) and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

7. Email communication (MailerLite)

We send emails via MailerLite (UAB "MailerLite", J. Basanavičiaus 15, LT-03108 Vilnius, Lithuania).

  • Webinar emails (access link, reminders, replay) are sent to perform the registration you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
  • Marketing emails (e.g. follow-up content and offers) are only sent with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Where we use a double opt-in procedure, you confirm your sign-up by clicking a link in a confirmation email. We log the time of sign-up and confirmation and your IP address to be able to prove your consent (Art. 6(1)(c) and (f) GDPR).

Our emails may contain tracking technologies that record whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. This is used to improve our emails and is covered by your consent.

You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email or by emailing us. After unsubscribing, we may keep your email address on a blocklist to ensure you are not contacted again (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). We have concluded a data processing agreement with MailerLite.

8. Automation (Zapier)

We use Zapier (Zapier, Inc., 548 Market St. #62411, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA) to transfer data you provided (e.g. name and email after webinar registration or purchase) between the tools listed in this policy. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR (efficient processing of your registration or order). Zapier, Inc. is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Transfers to the USA take place on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and/or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified.

10. Program, course and community platforms

After purchase, you receive access to our program via online course, community and tool platforms. We inform you separately about the providers and the associated data processing when you get access.

11. Electronic withdrawal function

If you use the withdrawal function on our website, we process the data you enter (name, email address, order details, optional message) and the date and time of submission in order to process your withdrawal and to send you a confirmation (Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR). We store this data for up to three years after the end of the year of the withdrawal to be able to prove its receipt and processing (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), and longer where tax law requires it.

12. Contact by email or contact form

If you contact us by email or via our contact form, we process your details (name, email address, message) to handle your request (Art. 6(1)(b) or (f) GDPR) and delete them once they are no longer needed, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

13. Recipients and transfers to third countries

We only share your data with the providers named in this policy, with tax advisors and authorities where legally required. Where data is transferred to countries outside the EU/EEA, this is done on the basis of an adequacy decision (e.g. EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework) or the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

14. Storage period

Unless a specific storage period is stated above, we delete your data once the purpose of processing no longer applies and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

You have the right to:

  • access your data (Art. 15 GDPR)
  • rectification (Art. 16 GDPR)
  • erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
  • restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
